Fall is here and I'm missing summer already. And tropical islands. *sigh. Haven't been to one in eight years since I left my birthplace. The beaches there are actually worth relaxing in. Unlike that crappy excuse of a beach at Galveston. Man, that beach had crappy sands covered in seaweed. Daytona was nice but I wish I don't have to worry about getting run over by a car.Anyway, haven't been in a decent beach in years. AAAA!!! What's the purpose of having tropical tan skin if you are forced to live in a landlocked area!!!

Hey don't feel bad man I know what you mean. I'm from origianlly from Vidor, Tx just up the road and I haven't seen a beach yet where the water wasn't brown. That's just our luck that all the deposits coming from the Mississippi River have to flow our way.

Well I just came back from a deployment from Qatar day before yesterday and I know the water's bright blue, I just didn't get to go of base this deployment (maybe the next one though ^_^)

This is why you get a job as a surveyor and then get sent to survey somewhere near a beach. Apparently those surveyor's scope thingies are pretty good substitutes for binoculars

Galveston is kind of a dump beach wise. The lake of toxic sewage they call the ocean down there doesn't make things any better.
Regardless, this is nice. Love the two arguing.
