Description Made some progress on my dragon head. Thought I'd give you guys a sort of explination of what I'm doing instead of just loading random photos of different points in the build. He's not quite done yet, but he's close. I will put up final photos once's he's complete.

Another reason he isn't furred is out of concern for the actor who'd wind up wearing him. If he was covered in fur and then sent on stange to stand under the hot stage lights, the actor would swelter, he'd be swimming in his own sweat. (and then I'd have to clean it!) But the articulated foam has such wide open holes, that it breathes very well and does not trap heat much. It's much, much kinder to the actor.

Nope, no fur. He is a sample of theatrical puppetry, not a fur-suit. If he was to be a fur-suit I think he'd have to be constructed of something a bit tougher than foam to stand up to the wear and tear a fur-suit needs to handle.
