Not really simply because it doesn't reveal anything about tha plot outside of her hair turning a certain shade when cut!

I don't know, I kindda liked her better, (appearance wise I mean) as a blonde. Despite the fact that even her tears posses the same magical healing properties as her hair did, and that Flynn doing that ultimately led to Mother Gothel's SERIOUSLY untimely demise, I think there could have been another way for that to happen without... well, actually, now that I think about it, no, they couldn't Whatever, I still think she was hotter as a blonde.(nothing, of course, against brunettes, I mean, heck, I think Victoria Justice is the hottest celebrity alive.)
Needless to say, Mother Gothel and I had almost the exact same reaction for completely different reasons. LOL. I still think she's hot though, and Flynn said it himself, he has a thing for brunettes. So, happy ending for everyone. (except of course, Mother Gothel. XD)

Type in the word "tangled" into the DeviantArt search and see how many results show her with blonde hair and how many results show her with brown hair. The blonde results outnumber brown by about 100 to 1. Pretty much everyone prefers her as a blonde.
