My first attempt to do a religious figure using contemporary treatment.PS: Since I am religious, please do not post anything that is disrespectful to the figure, thanks.

A beautiful illustration. I love the way one hand is open and accepting ... as if you say "Come to me and do not be afraid." The robes are exquisite too.

I am moved by the peace and grace of this, I love the light colored cloth that flows like water and clouds. It glows beautifully, I really love the yellow orange light green and peach tones.

I had to remind myself that Buddha is male when I first saw this, he just so beautifully rendered here. There's a certain grace to his features, pose and even his flowing robes. Beautiful work!

Seriously, don't get me wrong, everyone is free to believe what they want, but its like Buddhists really get it. And the people who i have met that practice are SO nice!!
Much nicer to the few 'friends' who have to remind me exactly what level of hell i'll be in when i die...even though i try my best to be a good person, lol.
