On their day off from the Crocodile Cave Cafe, Dandy and Sala are out and about in NYC on a lightly snowy day doing random stuffs.I had wanted this pic to be done before X-mas, being a holiday pic and all, but it just HAD to take me almost two months to get the coloring down, researching for clothes and the Brooklyn Bridge, and trying to satify my perfectionism. This is the first time I used the Smudge Tool on Photoshop to color it without lineart. I'm sure that there are still stuff wrong with it, but it's good enough to post it here.

I don't see what may be wrong there... Actually ye did an awesome work with that pic, coloring and even the background... Sometimes is good to try new techniques, so don't look for laws in your work and just keep it up!
Oh and by the way, if ye are wonderin' who I am... Just a random pirate crocodile that found yer artwork quite amazin'. Is not easy findin' anthro crocs, so I didn't hesitate in addin' a watch

Right ON! I remember you showed me an unfinished version of this some time ago. I love how it came out. The detailed folds in their clothing, the soft colours, and the stylised background all look SUPERB.

Yeah, you nailed the coloring! I might have increased the contrast a bit, though (like make the bridge a little darker), but this is really good. I'm impressed!

I agree that I need to work on contrasts. Probably just wussed out with making dark shadows. Hopefully, I'll get the hang of it with later works.
