I'm all with alolan forms but I still have no idea why alolan raichu excist and I'm 100 percent sure gamefreak have no idea either..anyway this is the Pikachu that should have evolved into that weird Raichu, ofc the reason why Alolan pikachu doesnt excist is that they where afraid that he will be too cute and people will love him more than the real deal, I dont know who told them that fans prefere Cute over cool,it must be the shitty fanarts that fill the internet...

I love this. Gamefreak should have made an Alolan Pikachu that would just be like this. It would be exactly like Pikachu except it's eyes would be blue. Still a pure electric type, same stats and everything except the eyes would be different. Like all the different Spindas or the differently colored Vivillon.

Alola Raichu exists to finally acknowledge the one electric mouse that hasn't been getting love after 20 years of being Pikachu's shadow, despite being the much stronger evolved version.

people keep saying that, I honeslty dont see how giving him a pichu face would help making him famous, I see many people using him and I actually quite like him, I still prefere pikachu and everyone will always prefere pikachu even if they give raichu 10 forms, my biggest issue is with richu is his face.

It's not about making him famous though, and it's more about giving him the love he deserves.
Like you and others admit though, you'll always prefer Pikachu, so this Alolan form is for those like me, who will always prefer Raichu and feel he's such an underrated Pokemon considering he lives as Pikachu's shadow.
