I suppose a 'Fuck yeah' moment would be stepping out of your last class on the last day of the school year and feeling the sun on your face.
You just can't help but say 'Fuck yeah, summer na' so the context of fuck doesn't always connote something negative, especially with its regular usage today.
My comment merely tried to emulate the feeling. And 'fuck' there was supposed to be taken with a high degree of awe. I take it you aren't behind times, unless I really wouldn't have to explain this to every person who sees me using fuck.
