Description A race of bug people known as thri-kreen from D&D. I had a bit of fun with this one, because being a bug guy he had so many arms to load up with weapons, the segmented exoskeleton and how to fit armor onto it, and most of all I like that he's ugly.

Pretty is easy to draw, because beauty is seen as being without imperfection. And imperfections are things you have to add, flaws need to be put in. And this guy works out as being overall pretty ugly.

HOORAY UGLY FUCKS!

This is probably one of the best drawings I've seen from you so far! The detail and design of the armor and such is great. Love him.

I think the benefit to being a bug man putting on armor is that you have an extra couple arms to help you fasten it together. I know there's been times where I've been putting awkward clothing on and thinking "Man, if I had just one more arm, this would be on and done with already."

Didn't really put that much thought into the details on the armor, I just thought it would be best if it wasn't just solid shaded metal.

But see, those couple extra arms means who knows how many more plates, buckles and straps etc.

So maybe the saved time in extra arms to help apply the armor is canceled out by the extra armor.
