The one classic LoZ I missed out on, and it gets a juicy remake. Hehe I may be getting a Switch, after all.
The style Nintendo chose is great, and so is yours! The soft colors, rich detail, and charming design are all very well done. It makes me wonder if we'll ever see another fully-pixel LoZ, classic-looking but with modern ambitions. This piece is proof that some things really are ageless!

Thank you so much for the kind words my friend! <3 I would really love to see a new Nintendo pixel game Zelda or otherwise but I think at this point Nintendo has moved on from it for now. On the bright side it opens up plenty of other pixelly avenues for the rest of us!

Oh that's actually a great point! We've definitely got a LOT of great pixel-style indie games out there, and I've noticed some 3D games reminiscent of the early PS and N64. (The low-res graphics always scared me a little when I was young-- maybe that's why they make such good indie horrors haha.)Β
It's awesome knowing you're a fellow LoZ fan btw! Do you have a favorite? I love everything gamecube and earlier, but WW is easily my favorite game of all time. ALttP is in my top five as well! ;w;

It's always hard for me to name favorites, the original LoZ always has a special place in my heart with it's innovation and very special time in my life, but ALttP & LA are also way up there. Beyond that funny enough I've never completed a proper 3D Zelda so it's hard to get a proper gauge on most of them, though I did love the time I spent with Wind Waker minus the sailing and Breath of the Wild has been a nice relaxing treat for me as of late.
