~From My Personal Collection~At first, you might say that this VP Kodak isn't in the best condition for a collectable, but it is in fact a very special camera. This particular camera was carried through WWI by a soldier in Co. H of the 47th Infantry and through WWII in Co. B of a larger unidentified group. Maybe the camera was passed from father to son? I'm still researching the scratched in writing on the back and I will update this info if I learn anything new! I hope you all appreciate the great history in this well loved piece of Americana as much as I do.
If you have any information past the basics of this piece, I'd love to hear it!
P.S. If you are offended by the fact that there is a swastika in this photo please take your hurt feelings elsewhere. Just like everything else in the photo, the coins are meant to add some historical context. Yes, the swastika represents a terrible part of our past but it is also important to remember. History should not be censored for your convenience. Believe it or not, I am not a Nazi. (Someone actually sent me a note complaining about this) :/

One fine shot of an old classic. Swastika, incidentally, is millennia old. If memory serves, in now ancient India it symbolized social welfare.
