Comment above is right, the sword looks to heavy for her, might have tried just posing with it point down or holding handle with one hand and blade layig in the other. She looks great as always and the pic is cool.

The sword itself is relatively light... she is giving the illusion of it having more weight than it does as a means of giving a more savage, barbaric look. Sort of the powerful female warrior who can handle any weapon kinda look. I thought it worked quite well with her.

I have some REALLY heavy fighting swords here in my own studio (I used to joust) however, the one I brought to ^cosfrog 's studio is a show piece from Lord of the Rings if I'm not mistaken (a Witch King's sword) so it isn't that heavy.... however, she did a GREAT job at giving the illusion that it was quite massive!

Oh, she is one of the best I've worked with, to be sure. It is always a pleasure to work with her. It's really nice when you, as the photographer, have an idea, and the model is right there in perfect sync with that idea.
