I love the scarring and the battle hardened expression! One of the best femsheps I have seen, and I normally do not care for femshep artwork.
Do you have any mansheps like this??

Thanks! I had to manipulate the stock image to fit my Import character, it was a fun distraction. ^^

Sorry for sloooow replay.
Stock Image is basically someone else's base art.
I think most often a Stock Image refers to say a photograph you or someone else took, that you then photomanipulate or paint over or use as reference. In this case I used Bioware's public art of the new Mass Effect Female Shepard character.
I then changed her hair color from red to blonde, and gave her scars and make-up. I think I cut off some of her hair too.
And color changed the lighting on her background and armor.
Why? I made the character look more like my character I played in the Mass Effect game. She was blonde, with some dark make-up an eye-shadow.
Import Character - In the Mass Effect 2 PC game you can save your character from the Mass Effect 1 game and "Import" the facial features and story decisions you made in ME1 into ME2. I modified the public art of Bioware's "basic" started female character to look more like the one I played in Mass Effect 2.
