In reference to this www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnjfId…Incidentally, I enjoy math as a hobby. I thought of it as such in Highschool. But of course, I was still disgruntled with the school for requiring something about the practical equivalent to advanced candle making.... And yet stuff like how Mortgage and rent and balancing a budget weren't explained (seriously that is where math is useful and everyone would find a use for it).

There is a good use for it, but only if you decide to study something math related. And even then there's no real reason to memorize it. :/

Quadratic equations were so annoyingly slow to figure out, that I made a spreadsheet to solve them faster. Never used the stupid things since...

I preferred them to F.O.I.L. ing I had fun solving them. They look complicated and are easy, which is why I used them in the video..... though I really have no idea if solving them in Base 8 was actually valid.

No worries. One day we will all be asked To animate a butt doing math... or perhaps an eyeball. Our teachers have assured us it isn't stupid and pointless.
