The other notable weapon system mounted on the long-lost knight pattern was the graviton phalanx, a massive twin-barreled graviton emitter which manipulated the local gravitational field to aid settlers in their daily life. What made it unique was that it could not only adjust and reverse the graviton beam's polarization with a much higher resolution than many other graviton emitters of comparable size, but it could also dynamically change the beam's focus up to the point of covering a large area within a notable range if required. This wide-spread bombardment with gravitons was especially useful for making lots of cargo crates lightweight enough to be carried by hand for a certain amount of time, but it was also effective of pinning any threats down to the ground to be easily taken care of by allied forces. Needless to say, this versatility is something the Adeptus Mechanicus would give an arm and a leg for (and a few extra servo arms as well if they have them), as it is a testament to the perfection of the technology blessed and sanctioned by the Omnissiah.
