I've realized that it's been months since I've drawn my Kirby gijinka proper. I rarely draw him to begin with, and all the art I have of him here is...evidently old. So I gave him a bit of a facelift, and returned to my love of layer modes.My design sheet for him is here, along with notes on his palm pocket dimensions for how he copies powers in human form:

Great way to implement it. Seeing Human Kirby just open his mouth really wide would be rather weird looking (kinda would be like Luffy in One-Piece), but then again, weird isn't bad. Your way would look cool though.
