Description This is Yume, 's cute little sock-witch.

I drew her a little too big and ran out of paper... so that weird line on her hat is where I stuck some more paper on... but then I ran out of paper again... so she missed out on feet

It's my very first pencil drawing, so critiques are encouraged
I failed with her hands, I know

Derwent Studio coloured pencils on paper.
Papermate Executive pacer for sketch and outlines.

I'm really glad you like it! I ended up fiddling with the damn gamma and brightness... but it seems to have lost something after being scanned...

I'm not sure how long it took to colour, I wanted to do it really carefully so it'd turn out good.

Yup, her hands are a bit toooooo small although this makes her more chibi-ish : D
I like how you've colored this one, especially her arms and socks, cause they're very shiny and 3-dimensional, and I like the details on her up-dress ^^ I wish I could use colored pencils so softly, I always mark too hard on the paper =_="
so very well! keep it up! : D

Thank you for your comments, Onigiri-chan! I pressed too hard too, especially with my pacer; there are these little indented lines all over the paper

Have you tried holding the pencil closer to the non-drawing-with end? I had to do that when I started pressing too hard. Less control, but a very soft touch
