This was originally supposed to be a test for my new Copics, but um... I don't have the blending pen, which creates the shadow dimension. So I'm stuck with the 12 pen set
Still, I liked how the sketch came out after I inked it, so I painted it instead
I actually did this while watching Scott Pilgrim vs The World 
(very good movie, btw : D)So basically here's what's happening:
While climbing the mountain to get to Terrence's gym (the second gym leader, rock type), Lauren's harness broke and she fell. When she fell, a few rocks came down and hit her too. Paul had no choice but get her back up the mountain while he had to get help. Lauren passed out, and now he's explaining what happening to the paramedics what happened in as little detail as possible. Her injuries included a broken neck, a fractured arm, a black eye, swollen cheek, and a number of bruises and cuts.
So I hope you like it...too bad I couldn't use my Copics *pouts*
Mediums used: Photoshop 6.0 (for screenshot effects), Prismacolor inking markers, watercolor paints.

Being literal for a sec, carrying someone with a broken neck could kill them *blinks* (or fully paralyze them from the neck down)
But anyways, you did really well with the copics, and Paul's pose is looking very good 
I think Lauren's pose still needs work, since you draw her so much, I strongly recommend you practice sitting poses, and a bunch of poses she would have to do.

And thanks, I have been taking your advice on being more "adventurous with poses". Still, Lauren's pose was the most difficult part, because Paul's hand is on her leg and I had to get that right

I suppose, though a different way of carrying her in that situation would be a smart move. lol, since with that pose her head was free moving and could easily bend back and break something even more...
