Description
This would be the design for Lauren's starter, Korey. It's the adorable yet underloved Steel type, Mawile
Species: Mawile
Current Trainer: Lauren
Current Moveset:
Focus Punch (learned from her mother)
AstonishPersonality: Korey has a very baby-like personality; cries a lot, highly curious, etc. However, when her trainer is in danger, she'll do anything to protect her, regardless of how much power she has at the time.
Mother: Mawile
Father: Ditto
Pros: Very loyal, knows Focus Punch, observant
Cons: Not very strong (as of now), draws a lot of unneccesary attention, her curiosity can get her into trouble
Trivia:
* Korey's nickname came from Korey Cooper, the female lead singer of the Christian rock band, Skillet.
* Lauren's starter was originally going to be a Quilava, but I changed my mind since Mawile doesn't get a lot of publicity.
* The design of Korey's blue bow came from a matching set of bows I found at Hot Topic. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford them, but I used it in the design anyway X3

Odd, I thought pokemon learned moves from their fathers in the game. But whatever, If you wanted to make it "game correct" you could easily swap the mother and father positions for Ditto and Mawile
Also Korey (if it is written as Koori) is japanese for Ice 8D she should learn an ice move, lol *goes to see if Mawile can learn any ice type moves*

Yeah, used copies don't cost very much and then there's the fact that Gameboy games are older than DS games. They aren't as much of a demand, so they don't sell as much.
