I really just wanted to do this for fun, which is something I haven't done in a while
I have way too much stuff that I owe others, and I feel guilty about putting all of it off >:But I mostly continued to draw this because 1) I was practicing anatomy, since ~TheAngelRaine gave me some advice, like making my characters more curvy and giving them more butt and 2) to get myself out of a bad mood (which is weird, since I'm supposed to be happy since it's spring break...)
So, as usual, here's the story behind this:
It was a year later after Paul and Lauren started dating, and they decided to visit the beach where Lauren told him how she felt.
(1 year earlier)
Lauren: Paul....?
Paul: *snaps* What do you want?
Lauren: Can I tell you something?
Paul: Fine.
Lauren: I...I like you?
Paul: You do...?
Lauren: Yeah, I have for a while and...I didn't know how to tell you until now...
Paul: Well, I really hate to tell you this but... *sighs* I'm not interested in you. I just broke up with another girl, and I don't want to go through that again.
Lauren: *tries to hide her disappointment* Oh...I'm sorry....
Paul: *snaps* What are YOU sorry for? It's not like it's YOUR we broke up! *says under his breath* Just go away already...
*Lauren starts to cry, and flees*

(1 year later)
Lauren: Paul...?
Paul: Yes, Lauren? *strokes her cheek*
Lauren: I...I love you...
Paul: Yeah, I know... *kisses her*
So yeah...I hope it's okay

I think that people hate him because a) he's a jerk b) he's a ripoff of Silver (in their eyes) c) he releases too many of his Pokemon d) some other reason or e) all of the above
Which sucks because I love him, and it gets lonely when everybody else hates him D:

I actually lowered the opacity for the moon with Photoshop, used the gradient tool on Photoshop, and used the airbrush tool to create the stars and clouds
