IMPORTANT EDIT: I made a little change... apparently people had problems to tell the back of her coat (that can be seen where her shorts end) and her shorts apart. Causing some rather awkward questions…. I hope that this change will stop this from happening again…

This is Asagi from the Disgaea, Makai Kingdom, Soul Nomad, Phantom Brave universe (There are more games in there but I can’t remember them all off the top of my head). She was originally meant to be the main character in a game that got cancelled, but apparently the developers liked her so much so they decided to make her the eternal secret character.

She nowadays appear as a secret boss in every Nippon ICH game, and her role is mostly to complain about not being the game’s main character, or she tries to defeat the main character and steal the spot as Main Character. One just tend to feel sorry for her, and she is one of my favourite characters. The “Summer Greetings” thing is some kind of joke that comes with the character. In Disgaea 2 when you defeat her she gives you a postcard that says “Summers Greetings” and in Disgaea 3 she says it and wonders if anyone even know what that joke was about.

Anyway. I got lazy with the background (I started drawing all that damn grass without custom brushed, and after 30 min I gave up and now it’s a mix of custom brushes and hand drawn grass) and then I just reused the whole mountain thing from a picture I never finished.

However, I noticed that there isn't much fan art of her here on DA...
