Yup, this is Megan Fox, and no, this wasn't created with Painter... this is all Photoshop

The inspiration was drawn from having experimented with a more traditional style from my previous artwork, Okami and having tons of fun doing so - [link] . This was also inspired by the legendary work of grand master, Yoji Shinkawa.

Depends on what you mean by "actuality." Face-to-face? Yeah, that's probably true. The highly edited stuff that gets put in magazines is another story entirely.

It is funny how we as digital artists strive to reproduce traditional media. I think you have successfully represented realistic brushstrokes in this piece! I also love the color choice for her lips, it is perfect, pops out just enough to draw the eye. Fantastic!
