I know I’m late to see this A A A, but I must say that this is such beautiful art work.
I won’t say too much about my political opionions about this, but the government needs to freaking pull itself together and do something about it. This is sadly still very relevant and it’s 2019 now.

I'm not going to state my opinion about gun control, mostly because I don't want to start arguments. But, I love all the detail you put into this drawing. You can easily tell how passionate you are and stand strong with your opinion. And that's great! Lovely art as always! <3

I agree with ya there.
So many lives are lost due to lack of gun control and the people in power have done little to nothing about it
I don't care what your political view is, you have to see that what these people with access to AR-15s are doing just isn't okay.
Okay, I'm done preaching, to the art.
This is a good piece and I'm glad even the few people I follow are showing support for the MFOL.

I personally believe that we should be able to keep Pistols, Shotguns, and etc, however there is no need for a citizen to have an A.R. We need to up our security on who possesses a weapon, but there is no reason to make them illegal. By upping our background checks, it should allow for responsible people to still carry a weapon and for unstable people to be prevented from causing another incident like Sandy Hook. Of course my opinion may be biased since I come from a Military Family and all, but I feel that this would be a win win for both sides of this unfortunate situation. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. it breaks my heart when stuff like this happens. Despite you not being able to be available for any of the walks or protest, I think you are contributing all the same with this beautiful piece.
To any others in the comment section, lets keep the debate peaceful. There is no need for rudeness. Its important that we stay united in these hard times.

Unpopular opinion time...I completely disagree with gun control. Gun control will do absolutely nothing, and time and money would be much better spent on upping security is schools. All the school shooters grew up in a broken home with no father. That's the problem, not guns. I have shot a gun before, and I have a gun. Does that mean I'm going to shoot a bunch of students? No. Most shooters get their guns illegally anyways. Gun control will solve NOTHING. But you know what will? Security. There was another recent shooting that resulted in only 2 injuries, one of which the student recovered from. You know why? A police officer was able to shoot the kid before he could shoot anyone else. Security saved lives, not gun control.
Anyways, the art is still good, even if I disagree with the cause. I mean no disrespect or hate towards you, just simply voicing an opinion. Feel free to debate further if you wish, but keep it respectful.

The problem is there are certain people that shouldn’t have access to firearms, and certain fire arms that people shouldn’t have access to. This is the ONLY developed country that has these mass shootings multiple times a year, and that’s because other countries aren’t afraid to have solid gun laws and aren’t being held hostage by the NRA. When a school full of first graders can be shot up with little to no action afterwards, it’s clear there is a problem that exceeds individuals. I respect you having a different opinion, but the time for saying it’s not a gun problem is over. Something NEEDS to change.

There IS such thing as a gun license. Most of the people shooting up schools and crap get their guns illegally.

Allow me to put this to you.Let's say for the sake of argument. That So-called Assault Weapons are indeed banned.Where do you draw the line?Do you leave all other guns alone?Or will you go after the rest?I am sorry to say,but that is whats happening here in California. Two years ago,The State Legislature redifined the term Assault Weapon to include any centerfire rifle that had a pistol grip, folding or retractible stock ect,and if the magazine can be removed by a seperate tool (The Bullet Button). Now The Legislature seeks too expand the term Assault weapon to include all Semi-Automatic Rifles that feed from a detachable box magazine.Regardless of configuation.Rifles such as The Ruger Mini 14.The Marlin Camp Carbine. The Remington M7400.The Springfield Armory M1A.And many other that have none of those so-called scary features.Do you see where I am going with this???The Anti-Gun Groups will not stop, until all guns are banned and confiscated. When The Brady Campaign was still known as Handgun Control Inc.Their manifesto was leaKed to Gun World magazine in 1994.And was printed in it's entirety.Devianr Reddbecca has it here at DA."More truth about gun control"I encourage you to read it.And after you do.I ask the question again,Where do you draw the line???If you wish to discuss this more.I am willing to do so.I only ask we keep it civil and no name calling.

i agree with you but there is absolutely no reason for any citizen to have an assault weapon, which is why i think gun control against assault weapons is important

But here's the problem. Does anyone even know what an assault weapon is? People have been expanding the term to more and more guns, and now I don't even know what it means anymore. According to my dad, it's semi-automatic guns people are trying to ban. Most guns ARE semi-automatic, and being that way is not what makes a gun dangerous. What makes a gun dangerous is the person holding it.

You're dad is actually correct. An Assault Weapon is any firearm that is made to fire on either what is called "Select Fire"ie,Semi and Full Automatic fire.Or just Full Atomatic. For example The German MP-40 Submachine gun, used by The German Armed Forces in World War 2 was Full Automatic only.Such firearms have been banned for civilian use since 1986.A provision of "The Firearm Owners Protection Act"Passed by congress and signed into law by President Ronald Reagan. Those who bought them before hand could keep them, but must pay a tax stamp of $200 per gun.I think that is yearly. And must have a Class 3 Federal Firearms License. It is Semi Automatc firearms The Anti-gun left is trying to ban.I hope this was helpful.
