You did an excellent job making something new from the original picture, love the short defined brush strokes and how you approached her hair. And honestly think the colors look cooler in your style.

I read that you spent time deciding the background. When I'm stuck in some part, I leave the drawing for a moment, sometimes a day before continuing painting. That help me a lot.

Thanks for the tip! I should do that more, sometimes I just get in the flow and I feel like walking away is a loss, you know? but I really should more often.
