Description

This is my very first full inking project. I've inked portions of a few pieces I've colored, but nothing like this. Being my first, of course, I messed it up. I didn't blueline before I in keed, so I inked over pencils and when scanned was left with a lot of stray marks I did NOT want there. I kicked myself and tried to get rid of as much as possible. It's far from clean or even usable for digital coloring but it was good practice and I enjoyed it and learned a valuable lesson.

Thank you to Eddie Nunez for the fabulous pencil work and dynamics in this composition, which is what grabbed my eye and brought me into the world of inking my first piece.

8.5 x 14, 110lb. matter cover stock, inked with an assortment of the standard pens inkers use, or what ever my wife had and was willing to let me use. I've since been shopping .
