Description "We stand strong for the Republic, and we fight to protect the Pack. All we can do is put up our damndest to be sure there's a Pack to fight with and a home to come back to."

Throughout his service to the Republic, Octang has garnered quite a stacked service record. Before his retirement at the turn of 30ATC, the Brigadier General had served a near total of 25 years within the Republic Army. Fighting in the 53rd "Rolling Fists" Assault Battalion has brought the former Staff Sergeant in combat with the Sith Empire on worlds such as Balmorra, Hoth, Corellia, Ilum and countless more. While having not seen considerable combat before joining the Republic Command Initiative, his extensive experience and combat hardiness became excellent leader traits when assigned command of the 72nd Assault Regiment- later reformed to the 72nd "Coruscant Wolverines" Division.

While ruthless in the field of war, the commander of the Wolverines has been known to be compassionate with those in the service. Especially with those either under his command, or fighting shoulder to shoulder on the Republic's front lines. Known to be a drinker and stubborn, while also headstrong and diligent, Octang was quite the mustang compared to the example of more proper commissioned officers within the Republic military.

Combat achievements earned, ranging downwards from lowest to highest:
Defender's Cross - Turkana
POW Medal           - Gelda
Bronze Crescent  - Bandomeer
Silver Crescent     - Fortressa II
Medal of Valor      - Munto Codru
Medal of Bravery - Dubrillion
Gold Crescent       - Kalee

(Note: A simple portrait of Octang in his Korinthian armor. Commission made by Aranggi, who has brought the best closeness of my OC to his faceclaim, David Boreanaz.)
