Three months passed, with three months filled with various exercises and mock battles. But thankfully all the trainees have the week off and decided to go on a beach trip, even though they had a perfectly good lake nearby…

"Ok," Jesse started for the third time, "someone try to tell me why we didn't just use the beach next to our lake?"

Jeff leaned in close to Jesse's ear and whispered, "Cause then we wouldn't get a chance to have some fun with the girls," which earned him a slap from Karin. Katie and her squad mates, Ben and James, were sitting in the row behind Jesse, Wash and Tex, the "chaperones", were sitting in the back of the bus with York and Carolina. Maine and his squad, Courtney, Cody, and Isaac, were sitting in the front. After several minutes the bus arrives at a large and empty beach. There was sand as far as anyone could see except for the changing building. As everyone goes to the respective rooms to change, Jeff pulls Jesse over for a word.

"Dude, listen," begins Jeff, "I have this amazing plan-"

"Whatever it is I don't want to hear it."

"But the results-"

"Don't care. I already told you not to involve me in any of your schemes."

"But-"

"Don't you start. I'm going to go set up my spot on the beach. Don't you dare do anything stupid."

As Jesse walked down to the beach, Jeff snuck through the back of the changing rooms unnoticed. Jesse saw this and decided to let Jeff get beaten up to teach him a lesson. Jesse turned back to what he was doing and put his beach blanket down. He sat down and pulled his book out and started reading.
