I could have done lots but lately I haven't seen too many in my mom's garden as I used to see as a child...
So yesterday one appeared in my room and I helped it to go outside...
I really miss seeing the garden with lots of those... TT___TT

I know, right? Me too when I was a kid I used to spend endless hours of summer evenings chasing after them. They gave the garden a magical sense.
Sadly it has been a long time since I've seen them.

I miss seeing them now as well.
As a child, I used to see them around this automatic lamp we have outside. The fireflies used to fly around it.
Now they're gone.

THis is so sad...it reminds me of the years when I was younger...
There was a gigantic forest across from our house, we'd see so many wildlife there, moose, deer, birds, and even once a wolf, which kind of scared me but...when I go back to that old house, the forest is gone and there's nothing but trash and houses and cars, there's not even a single BIRD there.
It saddens me...everything is leaving as we all age...

So glad this isn't another Fireflies- Owl City inspired thing. I love Owl City, and have way before they were on the radio, but Fireflies has become so over-used. At least I draw stuff to his other songs. (Though only one has made it to dA)
Anyhow, lovely little stamp! I love how you make the little firefly blink brighter when it's on the blade of grass. Can't help but guess it's female, since females are the ones who stay on the ground or on objects while blinking, while the males fly around.
