Well, here's more IBAW stuff. Excuse me if the crowd shots are… less than perfect. They were annoying as hell and I was desperate to get it over and done with.

That threw me for a loop. Ghetsis is talking about the speech and the girl being on N's mind, and suddenly "Don't get her pregnant!" xD

Ghestis in this comic is like seeing Hinata's and Sasuke's fathers actually showing familial affection instead of distance...
It's actually...interesting?
So we have a corrupt police force and a Team that isn't necessarily as evil as it could be (higher ups beg to differ). Seriously everything is flipped in this, you don't know what to believe. xD
Like I said, you have truly mastered the art of gray. I commend you. *bows*
Also, N's speeches remind me of Martin Luther King. "Only love can overcome hate." And all that. :3 (He really is an amazing public speaker, to be a leader that's a practically a requirement.)
Also, is that cultural diversity I see?! That panel with the seven sages...one of them as Asianic features, judging by the clothing...Chinese perhaps? Could be wrong. The one on the left, his clothing reminds me of African descent. The one on the right...I'm not sure. *shrugs* Could be inspired by any ethnicity really.
Also I love the freckles. (and the effort you put into drawing facial/arm hair on your male characters) It's these realistic touches we never see on anime characters. D:

Hi, I've been reading IBAW for a while and I have to say how exquisite and intricate your world is. As I plan my own Nuzlocke I see how hard it is to make sure the characters fit into the bigger picture instead of simply scrambling the pieces, and you've done splendidly with N as a prince-in-training.
Just wanted to commend the realistic conversation between N and Ghetsis. In a game like Pokemon which usually focuses on Ubermensch children who just dominate the world without issue, highlighting the bonds between family is admirable. It helps to show that Ghetsis operates in a social world just like any other human, and part of that is how he displays his care for his son even if he does have other plans for him. (Which I thought was actually a veiled threat to Evera, but could easily have been distorted by N's nervousness.)
Keep up the good work! See you again as I carry on down the comic!

I've heard mixed opinions, but I like fatherly/secretly scheming Ghetsis more than all-out-evil Ghetsis who couldn't give a shit about N.
Who knows if his reasons for caring about N are selfless or selfish, but either way I like that side of him :3

I have to congratulate you for improving the way you draw N. On the first issues, he looked so derpy, but now he's good.

i just ran into your comic series today after reading your how-to-start-a-nuzlocke tutorial, and i must say, it's a LOT darker than other comics i've read. but the plot is so sophisticated and complex, and this is the first time i've seen team plasma displayed in a more positive light! i praise you for your eloquence and creativity

I love how N looks so commanding and full of gravitas when he's giving his speech in front of everybody, but when he's alone with his father he looks completely different - scared, more like a child than a leader. (The way Evera looks at him doesn't hurt things either.)

I've just finished reading through your nuzlocke and I have to say it's the best one I've read so far! I think it's really good how you take your time to develop the characters and the story and you gave a very interesting twist to the Black and White games. I couldn't really stop reading it while I was on the computer. I kept telling myself that I would read just one more page before doing something else, but it was just too gripping! I could hardly believe when I saw that there was no next page yet!
Well, what I really want to say is: great job! I'm really looking foward to seeing what will happen next!

It seems that N is speaking his own mind instead of following what the sages wanted. Also the part with Ghetsis at the end was kinda freaky..well before he started talking about relationships. Anyway, another good page Wass! I am eager for more~

first of all: ich liebe deinen Nuzlocke comic! *~*
er vermittelt eine ganz andere sichtweise, als die, die man im game erfährt
hier hätte PETA wenigstens einen echten grund, einzuschreiten xD' (falls du das mitbekommen hast)
ich habe keine ahnung, ob ich zu viel hineininterpretiere, aber;
die themen, die angesprochen werden finde ich absolut genial und können auch aufs RL übertragen werden (bsp.: joltik-farm)
oder die unterschwellige andeutung, dass sodamak nach dem arenakampf schon von einigen trainern verstossen und aufgrund dessen weiterverkauft wurde (so habe ich es zumal interpretiert)
im übrigen gefällt es mir, wie du die charaktere der einzelnen personen umsetzt :>

LOL! Oh this was such a perfect bait and switch! You had me trembling with fear as Ghetsis confronted his son and then -surprise!- he's just talking about young love. Oh, I laughed so hard when I got to that panel.

Anyways, LOVED the talk between N and Ghestis. Ghestis has no idea what's going on, and N is so embarassed and worried. I noticed that you've avoided all the stereotypes that villians get labeled with, such as having short tempers, being control freaks and generally cold. He's a loving father, but he doesn't show his affection in hollywood-style obvious ways. ALL your characters are 3-D like this, but it's most obvious with Ghests.
Kinda makes me wonder... Are you Joss Whedon? (Joking!)

I'm glad to see that Ghetesis seems more human and more than just a bad guy with this page. I just love how he tries to give a flustered N (who is adorbs) relationship/love advise.
This a a really awesome page. It makes me want to try harder with my own nuzlocke both in art and in writing.

I'm quite relieved at a somewhat normal-sounding talk about girls after all these terrible goings-ons. Though man Ghetsis's eyes seem HUGE. You really do great dialogue and character interactions!

I think Ghetsis become one of my favs with his little father/son moment, it was so hilariously awkward. I guess Ghetsis isen't interested in grandchildren yet

I really liked how N mentioned, as if it was even more important, the fact that a human life was lost. I realize he did it to hit home with the hypocrisy of the league, but in a way it seems to hint at some hypocrisy in Team Plasma; they claim to see Pokemon as equals, but it still takes a human death to truly motivate them.
Or at least that's what I got from it, you probably didn't think that out. Nice touch, regardless of whether or not you did do it on purpose.
