-> NEXT So, let's start off the year with the most background-heavy page I ever, I repeat, ever created. Now, on top of that, it's just for prettiness… :I Ah, the pains I go through to deliver a page to you.
We also have my favourite, a cliffhanger. Hope you enjoy that one.
In fact, I guess you could call it multiple cliffhangers.

huh. I've left enough comments on this comic by now, and all in one day (Apologies for that), but this page seems like the culmination of so much that has happened throughout the comic. Character development and disillusionment and-
I don't quite know what to say, or rather, I don't quite know how to say it.
But the comic's been getting better and better- the art, the story, the characters.
Thank you for writing this, and providing it to us for free.
Suffice to say that this page was extremely powerful, in such a way that I don't even know how to properly articulate my feelings about it.

Jesus... I can't properly read N's expression! Is that disgust? Confusion? Sympathy? Shock? Him crossing his arms indicates specific emotions, but I can't tell what!

Uhh... So... Much... Emotion!
On the last comic, things do not look good for White. I remember in a crack comic you did, you had White try to kill N under the pretense that "if humans and Pokemon are equal, she can kill humans just like she's killed Pokemon!" While the comic was non-cannon, I think it's likely that she's adopted a less extreme version of this, judging from the way she treated Bianca. That, or she feels that Bianca deserved it for killing Pokemon- White hasn't developed enough to look through Bianca's eyes and see that Bianca is the way she is because of the lies she's been told. Although that mindset could lead to more problems... If White doesn't mind hurting those who she feels deserve it...
And onto today's comic!
Big Milestone! Crossroads! This is the MOMENT that will determine White's future! (Along with when she decided to help Team Plasma, and when Suchi died)
What N does now will determine SO much! If N talks to White, he may see that she's become the perfect tool for his father, as dedicated and yet blind as so many other members of Team Plasma. If he's in too much emotional turmoil from all that's happening around him and doesn't talk to her (or talk to her enough), he may turn her away without thinking, or let her join without warning her of Ghestis' corruption. I think the best case scenario is for White to work for N, but not allow herself to do any dirty work for Ghestis.
White hitting Bianca is important, whether it's because it solidifies Bianca's view of Team Plasma (or, less likely, effects Elsa's decision-making in the future) or because it's there to show how White has/will/is changing. If it's the latter, then that part will foreshadows much more of the plot than the former. See my comments above and below, because what I've written as the Worst-case scenario is more likely in that case.
Ah... But only you know at this point. I can't wait to see what happens next, but I have a feeling the next comic will not be a straight-forward continuation, but rather something completely different- a subplot being addressed, or Bianca's call to Cheren. As is your style, and I look forward to whatever you post next.

Die Hintergründe sind dir aber super gelungen, wirklich.
Wegen deiner Geschichte hat N bei mir jetzt schon so viele Pluspunkte gesammelt, dass es mich ernsthaft stört, dass ich in Weiß immer gegen ihn kämpfen muss.D:

Aber eine gute Freundin hat's mir empfohlen und ich muss sagen, es ist klasse! Dein Stil gefällt mir wirklich gut und auch wenn man die Story nicht so gut kennt, findet man sich ausgezeichnet zurecht ^^

Dear Lord, Wass. This is fantastic. Without even getting into the plot this page stands apart from all the others. I love all the subtle details in the background; the deerling, swanna, joltik, and even the shiny boldere you snuck into the panels. The nature looks fantastic and gives this page a rejuvenating feel, especially since we've been stuck in the cities for so long. It's great to have all this natural beauty associated with Team Plasma and N in particular.
It subtly makes White seem calmer, and makes her decision seem better. However, that doesn't change the fact that she's still a trainer, as we can see when she recalls her Unfeasant. With that note, the plot!
I was wondering how you were going to bring Cheren back into the story. I really like this! Hopefully he and Bianca can come to an understanding, or at least agree that they need to "help" White out of Team Plasma. I'm looking forward to seeing how loss has humbled Cheren, or has changed him at all. Bianca must be beyond upset to even consider calling him. It's interesting to see her set aside their petty differences in order to try and help her best friend. I really like how her character is growing. (And dang it Elesa! Stop being sexy and help your secret girlfriend!)
Now as for White, she finally made a decision! Albeit, still not on her own, but yay for plot drama. She won't go back to Bianca after physically assaulting her, both out of pride and shame. White isn't someone who easily admits that she's wrong, and I think that's part of the reason why she's always parroting other people's ideas and opinions. Now she can't listen to Bianca anymore, and she's hit her breaking point with stress.
What started with Sushi's death, and maybe even her first loss to N, has escalating into witnessing a murder by a respected member of authority, and someone she would have to face if she continued to be a Trainer. She's can deny the Trainers are murderers anymore.
And who just happens to show up when she burns all of her bridges? N. She's been trying to impress him for the entire run, more or less. When she lost, she sought him out and wanted to re-battle him. When they met in Pinwheel, she spent the entire trip depending entirely on him, only to find out that he had sabotaged her phone. Even then, she seemed more confused than upset with him, and was most likely still grateful that he helped her.
Then they met again in Castelia after she had her experience with the breeder. She wanted so badly to show him that she could be a *good* trainer, and that there were people who could raise Pokemon with love. I think she was just trying to make herself feel better. N proved her wrong again by releasing the Pokemon that spurred her realization, Divec, and they both watched him swim away on his own free will.
She hit him, but I think she regretted it. The way she spent Nimbasa's sights in a haze, uncertain on whether The League or Team Plasma were right at least tells me that she does think N was right after all. And then she told Lauren, who scarred her, that she understands why Lauren stole Meya, and that she would do the same. If she forgave Lauren for that, I think she forgave N, too. She excused them both because their actions were for the "greater good."
And now, after literally shoving her best friend out of her life, she gets to meet with a leader of Team Plasma, who happens to be N. She definitely sees this as a second chance, and she wants to make the right decision this time. Or maybe just any decision, really. The bow and lowered head are her way of asking for forgiveness and showing her sincerity. She needs N to think that she's changed, and that she acknowledges that he was "right" all along. (That panel is just perfect, by the way)
And now it's up to N to decide her fate. Since Evera has a plan involving White joining TP, he'll accept her, but it'll be interesting to see how he plays it. There has just been fantastic buildup to this moment, and I'm beyond happy to see it play out. Thank you, Wass. Your hard work really shows.
