Description colliding down the shadowy alley of me
filling me up and pulling me down
hand up to try and block the light
reactions I could never control
a bad habit you're told really isn't
but theory has it and everyone knows
sixty to seventy days without
when the plastic starts to curl
the petals made of paper turn
sweetness switches into rancid
dripping from the corner of the house
ice melting and stars shining through
something new is glowing dark
full of fascination for the dreamers
goals are liquidated in that ice
pull on the stitches until they freeze too
plastered over but hazels seep safely
seem to be grinning the widest of smiles
with a painful first look at the moon.

I love your word play, but I'm afraid I didn't really get this one either.

At the moment, while the words and phrases are deep and even beautiful. I'm afraid I can't fathom the full context. I can't tell if you have saturated your words with elegance or if they have simple meaning to you. Either way, I'm lost in your expressions.
