Your bunny is adorable. As a child my grandparents would give us live bunnies as gifts during Easter.

I found one like this in my yard before! It look exactly like this. A cat was chasing after it but my mother got it. She bought it to work and some one kindly adopted it and cared for it.

I would suguest putting it in a proper cage because:
1.) aquariums are for fish, not rabbits
2.) Rabbits can get respiratory disease
3.) If it's hot outside the heat build up is the cage and will
give your rabbit a heat stroke which is fatal
Please take my advice seriously.

Oh, how familiar it is to see the black and brown coat of a wild rabbit.
I have a beagle, and when she was young, she would catch these guys all the time. Usually, they would be alright--if not for being frightened half-to-death.
The one I remember best was the little baby that she caught and unintentionally scalped it on its back. I had to rehabilitate it, and it took about two months for it to fully recover. In that time, that little baby came to love me. I would take it out to eat clover in the sunshine, without any cage or anything, and it would come and eat clover in my lap of its own accord.
That was about six years ago, though. The baby made a full recovery and we let it loose once it was well enough to go on its own.
Moral of the story...? Wild rabbits love clover. It's their favorite food.

if these eyes are open and the ears are up, they can take care of themselves. the mothers leave the nests for most of the day. you should have left him alone, or take him to a wildlife rehabilitator, but even they will tell you not to touch them and that they do not do well in captivity.

One time when I was pretty little, my dad brought in a baby rabbit. I wanted to keep it and pet it and everything, but it kept running behind furiture and he didn't think we could keep it.
