He wasn't sure who spotted who first across the crowded room - although it was difficult not to spot her considering her outfit... did she always wear orange? Despite that, her strange choice of fashion had never been his concern - all he had eyes for was her... and the familiar red hat sitting jauntily atop her head, of course...
They met each other halfway, his normally stoic expression softening the wider her grin became. He found it odd that someone so frenetic could act as such a balm for his frayed nerves. Another quirk of hers he'd never figure out, he supposed.
She stopped in front of him, appraising his choice of clothing. Temari had picked it out - not that he objected, of course. Maroon was his favorite color. "Nice threads..." she replied. "They're new?"
He merely rolled his eyes. She chuckled. "I see you've changed a few things as well," he remarked dryly, struggling to hold back a smile as his pale gaze went to the hat upon her head once more. He studied the red kanji for fire before meeting her gaze once more. "It's about time."
Blue eyes blinked at him before the blonde Hokage childishly stuck out her tongue. "Moouuu, you're so mean, Gaara!"
Closing his eyes, the Kazekage let out a short, amused laugh.

Eh.. the bottom looks way out of place and not to comfortable either. I't seems to take away from any sense of fashion naru may have sorryly I have to say it looks kinda dumb and would become a problem in any sort of fight but whatever its your story.

Well, you can also say the same regarding Anko's trench coat and the Fourth's coat as well. They were quite long and look like they would become a problem in battle. Yet Anko fought pretty well with her coat on, and I guess the same with the Fourth. So if they could fight well wearing long trench coats, I can't see why Naru will have any problems fighting with the skirt-like attire anyway.

So, will this be a start of you making new attires for the entire Konoha 11, Sai, and the Sand Sibs? Gaara's new trends do suit him quite well.
Ever since yesterday, when I first saw Naru's Hokage attire, I'd really did thought that skirt should be orange with red flames, and surely enough you thought the same line as I did. With black slacks and turtleneck, the skirt and arm warmers will fit to be orange to keep up with her love for the color.
Speaking of Gaara's new trends here, good job in the design. A nice trench coat that opens at the legs with white pants. The strap for his sand gord is attached to the coat by that ring, and I can see the ring on the strap's back where his gord will be attached. I'm not so keen with his right arm being bare while his left is covered. Then again, his attire was put together by Temari, so I guess she wanted to give Gaara some sex appeal with showing a strong exposed arm.
Okay now... I'm a sticker for details, but am I noticing a *ring* on Naru's right ring finger there? Normally, the girl would have the ring on her left ring finger if she is engaged or married. Yet I've seen your art on your other account and you have plenty of married couples have rings on their right ring fingers. So I guess this means Naru is engaged or married at this timeframe of the WotN universe, which is maybe 8 to 10 years after Shippuuden? Hmmm... You really are a tease when it comes to making us crazy in guessing who Naru's *main* man is, are you?

Hmm, I didn't consider making new attire for everyone, but it seems like something fun to try.
I blame Gaara's attire on Cloud Strife... a friend convinced me to watch Advent Children, and although I really have no idea about anything Final Fantasy (except that Final Fantasy the movie was awful ), I fell in love with his one sleeved outfit and wanted to see our favorite redhead Jinchuuriki showing off his guns... Hehe, we've already established my dork status.
As for the ring... I never can remember whether or not it goes on the left or the right ring finger... I'll get it right eventually, ne?
