Matthew woke up pleased with what was ahead, mostly. He was humming a tune as he got dressed, for the day ahead had no classes going on that day. So he could wander the campus and maybe find some better places for if he starts talking with nothing. "Sixteen more days left," he smiled and crossed off another day on the calendar. "And then I can get out of this madhouse." In saying that thought, he felt watched and looked about. His dorm was empty, but then his shadow began moving on its own. "What is it, Brian?"
    "Do we seriously have to leave?" Brian asked, "Don't you find the students fascinating here? The appearances the culture they have, the capabilities of them, just WHAT they are is amazing."
  "No, it's not all amazing. It's terrifying." Matthew Growled, "All of them. We don't know what they are, but we know they could kill us easily. Heck, the ones we know for sure, could kill us."
  "But ye know they wouldn't." A Scottish woman's voice broke out from the window. "Ye even know three that won't hurt us. an ya know it. There are good people here tae. Hell, we've met a bigger share o nice folk over arshols." And on looking, Matthew's reflection was gone too and in it's place was an arctic vixen. Her lowered ears and said face was bothering him.
  "Well, Lass, The only reason anyone has not tried to eat me here is because of this." Matthew held up the little cross amulet from his chain necklace "Somehow this thing keeps gets them thinking I'm one of them in disguise. What's gonna happen when they realize this isn't magic?"
    "Thay wad find it surprising, but thay'd accept us for who we are." Lass smiled " Thay're our friends, Why wad thay forsake us?"
  "Because we aren't them! or anything like them!" Matthew growled "It's why we have to get out of here at the best time, Which, according to Brian, is then." and he pointed the circle mark on the calendar. " This day is one I can and will spend by away from everyone here. And I'll take those pills if I have to get away from you both too."
  "Or spending it with our new friends." Brian said "We didn't tell you this, but we set up a study date with Jake, Tori, and Sera. It'd help us learn a bit more, fit in, and catch up on some studies."
     "You What!?" Matthew growled
  And then there was a knock at the door. Before he could even respond, Matthew was out of his own. His posture straightened slightly, and ears perked up.
    As the he looked at himself he smiled "Yes!" Lass smiled to herself and fistpumped with Matthew's hand "How'd you know we'd take over at the moment?"
  "Prehistory we've had, and an educated guess." Brian said, as he stayed a shadow. "Though I assumed I would have control." But he shrugged "At least,\ you know what to do."
    Lass nodded and walked to the door as there was another knock.
