As you might noticed, Calvell has a scar through his right eye.As I mentioned here: fav.me/d9zpyx9 he got this injury when an older demon infant called Bastian wanted to punish him. With sharp claws, like what every young demon has, things easily get ugly pretty easily...
Demons - especially incubus, who are directly connected to Hell's energy circulation- heal fast but still, Calvell turns blind on the right eye for some months due to this injury. And since in Hell there is no mama and papa for any demon to run to, he had to take care of himself alone. He was quite disoriented during that time, which gave an other cause for the bullies to laugh at him, but at least they let him be.
After he recovers he still often keeps his right eye closed because he is afraid to get hurt again.
