QUIRK DESCRIPTION
    This quirk is a mutation of the respiratory system. When breathing, the oxygen is normally exchanged for carbon dioxide, which is whats exhaled. With this quirk the exchanged gas is instead a form of a generalized insect pheromone. Whenever Diaki exhales, he releases what is essentially a bug attractant. The longer his breath is held the more potent the pheromone becomes and the more bugs that become attracted. It’s also easier as well for him to control the insects when the pheromone is stronger.
    As of right now this ability allows him to summon nearby insects and somewhat control the actions of a swarm, much like a hive mind. It’s difficult to control one single given insect at a time.
    With time and effort, this quirk will have the ability to summon specific insects and control the actions more precisely, possibly individually. While his control right now is fairly good, it’s still lacking and is only really effective when the insects are in large quantities.
ABILITY 1: SWARM
Can summon a swarm of insects to smother or otherwise distract the enemy. Usually is used to impair vision during hand to hand combat. Another use of this ability could be to block or impair attacks directed towards civilians and/or allies. May not be possible if numbers are unachievable at the time.

ABILITY 2: STING
A swarm of stinging and/or biting insects can be commanded to attack an individual at once. May not be possible if numbers or variety of insects are not present.
ABILITY 3: BATTLE ARMOR
Can cover body head to to in a makeshift armor of bugs that can prevent or lessen the blow of a foe. Unless the quantity of insects are great, once the armored bugs are killed the armor falls away.
ABILITY 4: INFESTATION
When faced with a mechanic foe, insects could be used to infiltrate the machine to clog or eat away at the wiring causing it to malfunction. Machine must have joints or other entry points to be effective.

DRAWBACKS
    First and foremost the biggest drawback is the death of insects. Once an insect dies, it is no longer apart of his hoard. If there were to be some sort of fire attack that scorched a swarm of flies, then his ability would be basically nullified until reinforcements arrived. If his control is severely lacking, such as times where he’s in extreme distress, there is a possibility that the insects could latch onto him instead, resulting in bug bites and other such things. It’s also useless in areas where there are no insects, such as the middle of antarctica.
    This quirk also cannot be turned off. The simple act of breathing results in the attraction of different kinds of insects. This can be remedied by wearing a mask or breathing apparatus that filters out the pheromones. A heavy duty mask, similar to a gas mask, must be worn during strenuous activity when breathing is likely to become labored, since the potency will be increased.

He can easily determine the strength and quantities of his swarm of insects
Even if knocked unconscious, his quirk will continue to work and although its unintentional the insects will form a barrier around him and protect his body from further attacks in an attempt to get closer

WEAKNESSES
Cannot be used alone for the most part and has to be paired with hand to hand combat to be effective.
When up against attacks like fire, there is a very little chance his hoards will survive and if they do the numbers will be sparse at best.
If he’s been fighting for a long time and is slowly starting to get out of breath, it’ll become harder for him to pump out the needed pheromones to continue fighting.

Daiki is a social butterfly that flourishes with the company of others. He will almost always be the person to start a conversation and work at keeping it alive, especially if the person he’s talking to isn’t the best at socializing. He requires a lot of attention and can be likened to a dog at times by the way he seems to beg for people to notice and give him love. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and can be read like an open book. The best way to describe him in a social setting is a class clown, always looking for opportunities to make other people laugh even if it is at his own expense. He does take some jokes too far and has been known to tell jokes at the wrong time, such as during a serious moment in an attempt to lighten the mood.
His decisions are always emotionally driven, which does mean that they’re usually impulsive and dont always turn out the best for him. He’s very easily tricked into believing things because he’s arguably too trusting. He’s the kind of person that takes things at face value and doesn’t question other people's motives- most likely because Daiki functions as a person that is straight forward with his intentions and goals. Because of this he’s fairly malleable and will give into peer pressure easily. He’s quick to adjust to a change in mood and settings. He is fairly flexible when the situation calls for it, such as changing a game plan mid battle.
In a situation where someone has wronged him or made him feel uncomfortable, there is very little chance that he would try to sit down and talk to them directly about it. He’d much rather keep it to himself and deal with it on his own than start what could be a potential argument. But the situation is completely changed if a friend of his is treated that way instead. In an instant Diaki would be defending his friend with all his might, backing them up until the day he dies.
Daiki is the kind of guy who goes all out in whatever he does. He believes that if you’re going to do something, you’ve gotta do it right. He’s not one to cut corners or slack on something he’s already made his mind up to do. It’s takes a lot for something to convince him to give up on whatever it was that he had already started. ║▌HISTORY
Daiki is the only child born to Chiyo and Sachiko, his to wonderful moms. After getting married the two of them decided to go through with artificial insemination. Chiyo became pregnant with Daiki not long after. Not much was known about the father at the time besides the fact that his quirk involved with the secretion of a dopamine like substance. This, combined with Chiyo’s quick of lung expansion which allowed her to hold her breath for nearly 15 minutes at a time, created Daiki’s Bug Breath quirk.
His quirk became apparent one night when his moms came to check in on him and found him absolutely covered in insects. After a couple minutes of consistent screeching and cute baby giggles, the two poor mothers were able to free their son from the hoard of beetles. They brought him to the doctor the next day and, after a few tests, were told the horrible news of their child's affinity for the bugs. From that point forwards Daiki wore a mask constantly to prevent the attraction of bugs on a mass level. When sleeping Daiki used a filtering machine to avoid becoming a bug host again, since just wearing a mask isn’t a perfect solution and still attracted quite a few friends by the end of the night.
Going through school Daiki was extremely popular with the guys, but not so much with the girls. He ended up getting the nickname Bug Breath, which he didn’t mind. He’d always try to show off his quirk at school and since he still lacked the control he needed to use it properly, the whole situation got out of control. There were times that school had to be canceled due to an infestation, much to the embarrassment of his mothers. Eventually, getting fed up with his lack of control his parents decided to get him some professional help. After school he’d go home for an hour or two where a tutor would teach him how to focus his energy on commanding the bugs. After a few years he became proficient enough to begin training on his own.

When he laughs he usually ends up snorting
