Description Attempted to create a planet for the first time in Photoshop... needs practice still.

I tried to depict a girl lying on a window frame, overlooking a planet.

Oh, very nice! Your characters are really improving and I like the background but when I first saw it, i thought she was floating in space. Then I read the description and realized she was in some spaceship overlooking the planet. My suggestion would be to add a see through floor. That way we know that she's in some spaceship and we can still see the planet. I also agree with Pianof. Great stuff! reminds me of xenosaga! love those games

Sorry I haven't comment in a long, long time. It's been busy.
I really like your concept. It seems very serene.
I think there could have been more going on with the glass. For example, you have some light shadow near the frame, but maybe a reflection of the girl and frame on the window? Like how when you hold your hand to a piece of glass, it works like a mirror, but very faintly?

I'm sorry I can't express myself coherently.
