Hya!
This is awesome! The background is incredible! It looks natural!
The ballerina and the horse look good too, however I find they seem to stand out from the rest of the scene.
If you'll have them, I have a few suggestions
-First, the only part of teh image that really looks out of place - the lightning. The lightning looks great, but it is very unusual to see it black instead of white. Did you have a reason for making it black? If not, I\'d definitely say white is the say to go
-Second, the ballerina looks really good, except for two details. The ballerina stands out from the scene for one main reason - she is unnaturally light compared to the rest of the scene. Try lowering the Brightness and adjusting the Contrast slightly. Also, try adding a faint dark-aqua overlay, to make the ballerina looks like she is actually outside by the sea with a storm approaching. That said...I assume the horse could represent Poseidon, Greek God of the Sea, who favoured horses. If so, perhaps he could be eminated some sort of light. Just an idea though
Also for the ballerina, her shadow. The main issue here is the shadow you've added doesn't really match the lighting on her body, although it does match the rest of the scene. I'd suggest making the shadow a bit more solid and a bit darker. If my theory of the horse representing Poseidon is true, then you could say he is emitting light (hence the bright light on the ballerina), but in that case, I would suggest adding another shadow trailing off behind her - this one would be dark like the shadows on the rocks beneath her feet.
-Next, the horse. The horse looks really good and very majestic with such a smooth, straight mane, however it looks a little unnatural as well. First, try adding an overlay like I suggested for the ballerina, to make the lighting and colour of the horse better match the scene around it. Second, I agree with *Cynnalia that the mane looks a little too straight. That said, if the horse represents Poseidon, that's understandable
-Lastly, the horse's hooves. The horse's hooves stand out a great deal because of the constrast between them and the shadowy ground beneath. I'd suggest making the hooves darker to better match the lighting.
Otherwise though, this is absolutely amazing!
I apologize if I sounded harsh or offending in my comments, it was not at all my intention.
Best of luck in the Challenge!
Dan

Overall nice work. You might consider softening an/or blur the horse and figure to blend more into the background and make it look less pasted on. Good luck
