May I present Deopite
The gemstone Deopite is a very mysterious gem. It's name comes from an Old English word, déop, which means mysterious, profound and deep. It has an otherworldly glimmer beneath the surface, of mixing purples and blues. It is said to bring out hidden powers.

Now meet Deopite, the embodiment of this gem.
Deopite is a Homeworld gem. She is a choral oracle, meaning she sings destinies and premonitions. Though she looks young and acts naive, she is very old. Newer gems don't take her seriously, but the older ones have seen Deopite's prophesies come true. Her main power is singing: she has control over the gems she sings to temporarily, so powerful is her voice. This isn't used for nefarious purposes though. More like times of needed bravery or control. The gem on her neck glows when she is singing. If need be she can wield a lyre to give her more power over gems, but that doesn't happen very often. She is confined, somewhat against her will on Homeworld , as those in charge are wary of her incredible power. Deopite is consulted only in times of great need, so she is a rather lonely gem, eager to make friends.
