at the moment i like this.
I like this because the lettering is still quite solid and clear, it dosnt take a trained graffiti artist to recognize the letter shapes, they are somewhat conencted but definitly separate letters on their own. But somehow they are too much their own and need to be connected without being too crushed. Also i think it has some flow/motion. id really want to work on breaking down the lettering so that there is a definite direction of motion, without it looking like some other pieces that i have seen with likewise attributes. the fill and coloring is lazy, i had just finished doing the sketch, inking, some other canvas for several hours and probably to appathetic to really be doing what i was. but the little geometric shapes around the word i think are a nice contrast. some of the kicks and extensions in here (like bottom of the R) shouldnt be there, I should slow down. But overall I find it has a nice cohesiveness, although sometimes I feel like I am getting to comfortable in what some people would call my own style, i dont want to become redundant like alot of old-schoolers and hope to flip this around. since if my work is not really changing, am I?
