Description:

So with my resurrections in the RWBY fandom I wanted to use my new characters to push me to learn how to draw... which means doing things I feel uncomfortable with. I have never, ever been good with expression. My goal is four pictures for each OC, different expressions, lighting and poses.

Face shadows... I should have used more references because I don't think they're right. Always use references!

Haven is all about numbers. Students arrive in thousands, and graduate by the handful. No other Academy has a dropout rate like Haven Academy; if they are lucky not to be crippled, maimed or dead.
But fresh from the success of the 39th Vytal Festival, Mistrali arrive in droves and if they want to succeed every student has to claw tooth and nail to stand out!
Some do it as teacher’s pets. Other’s shine before lawless crowds of the underground fight club known as Lei Tai. Fewer still attract the patronage of the elite.
Team CLWD vows to do it all and be battle ready in time for the 40th Vytal Games! What could stand in their way? Everything.

Lian is a rake and a mischief maker; defying the establishment and views himself as a freethinker. Although expected to be a high level hand of the Tsuyagoi Clan, he resisted, skipping his tutors and spending his time goofing, drinking and brawling with the low level thugs. He goes with the flow, does what he wants and when he wants and what are you gonna do to stop him?
Like his sister he has a natural charisma but he is such a bad influence, always encouraging people to give into their worst impulses. Feel what you feel, live the moment. Be angry! Be lazy! Be greedy! What is intoxicating at the time, always reaps terrible rewards and regrets. For Lian, living with consequences of last night becomes a day to day occurrence.
He’s the same on the battlefield, acting and reacting moment to moment. He leaps in without a plan or a thought for himself or others. Wrangling Lian’s attention is a full time job and getting him to stick to the plan is like pulling teeth. He loves to go smashing with Bam-Ba-Lam, and unleashing its missiles without warning. Friendly Fire is a very real possibility.
The only exception to his argumentative streak is his sister. Caihong is the only one who can nag him into line.
