wow- im so glad i stumbled into your gallery. your stuff is great- incredibly detailed, very intricate but also expressive- a great blend of both- & it's also unique- you seem to have found yourself in terms of developing your own style & design- your own niche, so to speak- which gives your work a polished, distinguished quality- it's poised. finding your own "art personality" can be difficult, but once an artist discovers what that is, they can refine it & perfect it- therefore, giving their work a certain "fininshed", or more like "found", quality to it. i feel like your stuff has that qaulity, & will certainly get even more & more beautiful & accomplished as you continue to hone in on those elements that define "the art of your art". *(and of course artists can, and will(!), still always continue to experiment outside of that, & perhaps find other, and/or better, styles- we wouldn't be artists if we didn't! art of course cannot be limited or confined)
also- in terms of this piece- i do love the colors, & get why you chose them, but i'd also love to see how this would look in a cooler palette- like the beautifully rich, jeweled blues,greens, & purples of a peacock- i wonder how the dynamics would change, & if certain elements would be enhanced greater or lesser...
