Description It would be un-Vietnamese not to commemorate Tet, the most celebrated event of the year. I ended up sketching and lining this yesterday. As a result, many mothers did not receive service from the unit's volunteer and my uncle ran around with the drawing saying how "wonderful" it was.

Hoa mai is a plant with hundreds of tiny yellow flowers. It is very representative of Tet.

There wasn't any room left for kumquat branches.

Axis Powers Hetalia -> Hidekaz Himaruya
VietNam -> world history

Thank you very much!

I'm Vietnamese myself, so I know the proper shape of the collarβ€” this design was cobbled together from a few references of the Hetalia character.

I believe the small yellow flowers in the back are hoa mai? I just included the lotus on the bottom.

I'm afraid that I'm rather illiterate when it comes to Vietnamese- I can understand and speak with a six-year-old's vocabulary, but can't read or write. All the same, a belated chuc mung nam moi! ^^

love the background..very detailed and pretty although i would like it more if her ao dai's sleeves were shorter and more traditional..but still pretty nonetheless!
