This is the kind of scene that that gets my blood going. (Not in a negative way). I like the idea of being independent, of not needing others to survive. Now if I was being totally honest, I know that as a pioneer I would never have made it. But the romance of the idea is still within me. I very much like remote places, and especially those places that bring the past to mind and the tough as nails people who lived then. In one respect I would have made a great pioneer... I prefer being alone or with just a couple of people. Crowds, and especially cities do not do much for me.
