Finally, it is complete!Thanks for taking a look at my newest contribution to the Jizabel fandom. This piece is 16x20, done in graphite, 6H-2B
I'm very proud of this piece. I wanted to go for a very old fashioned Victorian style portrait. I wanted the pose to be very formal, to fit the time period.
about 30 hours
I sent this one to Kaori Yuki herself over her official Twitter page. It kinda made my life when she said it looked awesome :3

You should be proud of this piece! The Victorian style you used is terrific! Everything is wonderful, but what I really like is the way you shaded. I find shading one of the most difficult things to do since you need to take the lighting into consideration. And you did a wonderful job! I really admire your work!

I love the detail you put into shading, it got a very realistic look.
It even helps to have this done monochrome, it serves the victorian optic, and the decorative elements you used on the frame are extremely well drawn.
