A shocking amount of static electricity can build up in the fur of an Ampuff. Since they are so unbelievably fluffy, the buildup of electricity is actually enough to unleash devastating electrical shocks. As a result, despite their cuddly appearance, it is often advised to avoid touching Ampuffs, unless you're looking to get fried.
