What do you mean someone other than Megatron could ever be Decepticon leader? Blasphemy! ( Flamewar is not an 80's comics fan. ) ( I am. Ha ha, Flamewar, you had to put up with Triumverate rule for like two weeks. Did they take over with the cunning use of flags? )If you want to read AHF at In Space, here it be.

Flamewar's pretty brave despite being the smallest con in the room, and Brasswing's attitude doesn't surprise me, while Megatron is typically the cons absolute ruler he WAS out of commission for millions of years back in G1, leaving Shockwave, a loyalist of course, in charge. I imagine Shockwave may have had to put down several would be usurpers to Meg's throne over the millennia (oooo, cool fanfic idea lol), and of course in the comics Shockwave is sometimes a rival to Megs akin to Starscream, and then there's Scorponok too.
Most cons tend to be either loyalists or schemers, but there are of course those fair weather friends who simply side with whoever comes out on top in the end (Thunderblast was like that in TF Cybertron I think, basically a gold-digger who sided with/was attracted to whoever was the strongest con around, which happened to be Megs/Galvatron, though I think if Screamer had won she would have sided with him).

I'm kind of surprised Shockwave didn't get a mention as a possible target for Brasswing's loyalty, assuming he's still the uber-boss of monitors in this continuity. Then again it kind of just shifts the answer, I guess. IF Shockwave is active AND Megatron is also leader of the Decepticons, THEN Shockwave will be loyal to Megatron...going straight to the leader is so much faster. XD

This comic will make me burst something with squee.Β Brasswing is this marvelous blend of awesome and adorable, and I love how she talks to people.
(I see some Airazor about the face on Brasswing, but I can definitely see the Terrorsaur in her shell design, too.Β Not that Terrorsaur's body language routinely reads 'well, aren't you just precious,' of course.Β Everybody's body language is fantastic on this page, really.)
