I have been looking for an excuse to haul out the folding chairs for ages. ( They and most of the others in that last panel were accessories from Knave's wrestler figures. )Dinobot just really likes his beast-mode.
Tarantulas' plans ending in beatings goes back to the beginning.

To be fair to them, dinosaurs are cool and the G1 toys except Swoop are harder to break in dino mode
