It has never really been said exept for the fact that the doctor calls it "old girl" and sometimes "she".
I think it doesn't have a gender.
Also, there's no need to be hateful. Some people might feel it's a male then that's their desisition.
You can believe it's a girl and they can think otherwise :]

Well, (i completely agree with what you said and all but,) in "The Doctor's Wife" you see that The TARDIS has been placed into a female's body, and she also states that "All of my sisters are dead" So that means that out of 9/10 chances, all of the TARDIS'es count as being technically female in humanoid forme. But, I do like the art though!

A very cool design. I love the subtley glowing eyes and arm tattoos.
Interestingly, the Big Finish series of audio plays which continued the adventures of the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann)featured a character called "Compassion", who was a fully sentient type 102 TARDIS capable of taking human form (for reference, The Doctor's TARDIS is a type 40!). Great minds, and all that.
