The Najuhlim Government for many generations was divided into distinct segments, each faction with it's own designated area of authority and duties. The Oligarchy, High Command, and Thearchy ( closest translation) were the primary governmental divisions.  The High Command was in charge of all internal and external military forces, and responsible for the defense of the Najuhlim Combine.

With the rise of the Zealot faction within the Theoarchy, and the purge of the Oligarchy by the Theoarchs The government has been equally divided between the tow major factions, with all lesser departments falling in line with one division or the other. The division of leadership is roughly equal with neither  side holding a clear advantage over the other.  Leaving the High command largely independent of Zealot control. However with the puppet regime o Oligarchs owing allegiance to the Zealots the High Command is duty, and tradition bound to pay at least grudging obedience to the Oligarchs, and Proletariat Council.

while they have fought several major wars since the urge, and absorption of the Oligarchy at the behest of the Zealots, they seldom venture outside of the establish borders of Najuhlim space. Since the end of the Mohljaniir Genocide, and the first Incursion Into Terran Space the Najuhlim High command has held a defensive barrier position at the fringes of Najuhlim space leaving the Zealot forces to fend for themselves outside of their borders.

High command fores fiercely repell any attempts to violate Najuhlim space, and will respond forcefully to attacks, either provoked or preemptive against any world under their protection. This leads to regular skirmishes with forces responding to Zealot provocations, and harassment. However The High Command has yet to devote it's full resources to the generational campaign to force entry into the SOL system and seize control evicting The Human "Usurpers" from "The Birth World".

Ton for ton Najuhlim Warships are a match for the most powerful Human warship, and are optimized for direct combat, using heavy Bay weapons, Multiple missile systems, and powerful Spinal mounts to deliver crushing blows as the ships close to point blanks range with the enemy. his makes the High Command even more dangerous since at current estimates it posses a two to one advantage over the combined fleets of the TAE, Valkiir Conclave, And Tau Imperium. When faced with the brutal power of the high Command Fleet, and it's Numerical superiority The odds of A Terran Allied Force wining against a totally committed High Command Offensive are slim at best.

High Command Ships are a generation or two ahead of The Nauhlim Zealot fleet. During the Mohljaniir Genocide, the zealot forces paid little attention to the capture, and preservation of Advanced Mohljaniir technology or the technicians, and documentation needed to fully understand it. The High Command was diligent in it's recovery of any Mohljaniir technology it came across and attempted to capture as many technicians, scientists, and workers at key locations as possible. Only the Zealots ruthless extermination of prisoners, and deployment of indiscriminate weapons of mass destruction on the Mohljaniir population, prevented the High Command From gaining full access to the captured technologies within a generation.

Only in recent years has the High Command been able to fully unlock, and utilize The full extent of captured Mohljaniir technology.

High command tactics, are direct, aggressive, and difficult to counter. They focus their forces in a powerful high speed Blitzkrieg style attack. Keeping their forces within close range of one another so they can defend one another against the ambushes launched by the Tau, Imperium, and lighting fast slash and fade strikes of the Valkiir Fleet.  The TAE has focused it's tactics on countering the brutal highly focused assault by refusing contact with the main body of the enemy until a point where local conditions favor the TAE, and constant high pressure attacks on the Supply network of the Main Body.

The tactic has proven effective in past encounters/ However, intelligence indicates the High Command has  developed a new generation of escorts, corvettes and frigates to protect their supply lines, and invested heavily in support, and supply vessels that can travel with the main body to provide forward area support without slowing the rapidly moving main body.

With Growing tensions along the Najuhlim Frontier, and the increasing likelihood of another TAE-Zealot war in the near future, all efforts are being made by The TAE, and Allies to insure that the High Command maintains it's neutral stance in the conflict. Te High command has responded to these tensions, by increasing it's rate of production, training, and stockpiling of war materials to a level that would allow it to respond rapidly against the total might of Human forces, attempting to breach Najuhlim Space, in a preemptive strike against Zealot forces. While at the same time making tentative diplomatic efforts to prevent rash assaults by various groups, that would force it to become involved.

Notes:

Te coloration of Najuhlim Ships is partly due to their eyesight being uncomfortably sensitive to colors at the blue-indigo-violet end of the spectrum. As well as partial attempt to make their ships less noticeable in the dusty, and cluttered confines of Hyperspace.

For quite some time I have been trying to find a style that fits the Race, I wanted something that was both rugged looking, hinting that it might be fairly fast...and had the brutal look to match the Najuhlim tactics....I am reasonably happy with the results.

The Cruiser is kind of like an X-wing fighter without the wings. (Gold Squadron, of course.)

That's good, I guess

The long slender look tends to make for a swifter looking vessel...
