Description Created for a Ghost in the Shell themed cyberpunk game I run on RPOL.net

Obviously it's a version of the Tachi/fuchikoma ride armors used in Ghost In the Shell

These are a less advanced version without the AI systems used in the Tachikoma. Instead they use a fairly low function AI expert system without a personality or human interaction software. ( at least in standard models )

The ne on the left is a standard model fitted with manipulator arms and urban running gear. The one on the left is fitted for cross country and rough terrain operation with it's heavy manipulators replaced with gun pods mounting a 7.62 antipersonnel weapons pods, and a 12.5 mm heavy machine gun for ant-vehicle/anti-cyborg work.

The vehicles are capable of 30-40 MPH over flat terrain, limited jumping and climbing, and with the addition of "GekoPads" to the tires they can vertical scale obstacles that can support their 700 kilo mass.

The are powered by high efficiency fuel cells, and batteries for regular operation and a compact gas turbine powered generator for use when peak power is needed. running on Fuel cells the vehicle can operate for 24 hours without refueling, it also carries approximately 2 hours fuel for it's turbines for extended high speed, high output operations.

The vehicle has armor sufficient to stop up to a .50 caliber round ( but not 12.55 high velocity, or .50 caliber armor piercing rounds) and can withstand near misses by explosive, or fragmentation rounds, or shell splinters from artillery or mortars.

Each vehicle comes equipped with grapple line launchers, full spectrum video pickup, and a military grade encrypted radio, and data inks connecting it's on board electronics and computers to a secure broadband data network.

Options available include environmental seals that allow the spider to operate under water, or in contaminated, toxic environments. electronic and cyber-warfare packages, and additional weapons hard points on the abdomen of the vehicle.

As a custom order the machine can be modified to act as a body for any cyborg with the proper interface and control systems, or operate under remote operation by a real time operator.

I once read a Ghost in a Shell.

It was....weird. Really weird.

Really, really weird.

Great art, though, and how they shamelessly showed women butts and boobs :3

Oh and your drawing of those robots is awesome, too
